Standard Plug-Ins

Luci PetersonChurch Websites

These plug-ins come standard with our Premium Evangelism Website product.  This article will explain what each one is, why it is included, and how it affects your website.

Breeze

This plug-in speeds up your website’s performance.  This has been included for the convenience of your site’s visitors.  If you remove or change this plug-in, it may affect the speed and reliability of your site.

Feeds for YouTube Pro Developer

This plug-in allows your site to automatically pull in videos from your YouTube channel so that you do not have to upload them in both places.  To use this plug-in, click on “YouTube Feed” in the lefthand navigation menu of your Admin Dashboard, and follow the prompts to connect your account.  If you are still within your 30-day review period, contact SermonView once your account is connected, and we can set up your feed for you.  Removing or changing this plug-in may stop the automatic posting of your YouTube videos.

Pixel Your Site

This plug-in allows you to see metrics about your website on the Google Analytics dashboard that SermonView has set up for you.  You should have received an email invite to your Google email address that you provided when you placed your order.  If you have not received an invitation, contact SermonView and provide your Google email address so that we can send you an invite.  Removing or changing this plug-in may stop data from being communicated to Google Analytics and you will no longer see accurate information on your report.

Gravity Forms

This plug-in runs all of the forms on your website, such as Contact Us and Prayer Request.  Removing or changing this plug-in will remove all forms from your website and delete all the responses you have received from visitors.

  • Advanced Post Creation Add-On: This Gravity Forms Add-On allows your team to easily post content to your website without any web development knowledge by filling out a simple form.  This powers your Admin Forms that SermonView has created for you.  Removing or changing this plug-in will remove the automation from your Admin Forms and they will no longer do anything.
  • reCAPTCHA Add-On: This Gravity Forms Add-On allows your forms to work with the new version of reCAPTCHA (v3).  ReCAPTCHA is a spam protection tool that is standard on all websites.  Removing or changing this may cause errors or prevent visitors from submitting forms on your website.
  • Zapier Add-On: This Gravity Forms Add-On allows your website to connect with InterestTracker, our lead management tool (CRM) for churches.  If you have an InterestTracker account, contact SermonView to let us know if you would like the responses from your website to automatically feed into your account and we will set up the integration for you.  Or if you do not yet have an account, you can sign up for free today at InterestTracker.org, and we will connect your new account to your website.  Removing or changing this plug-in will remove your website’s connection to InterestTracker.

InfiniteWP – Client

This plug-in allows SermonView to monitor your website’s uptime and update your website’s framework, themes, and plug-ins remotely.  Removing or changing this plug-in will stop all updates and monitoring from SermonView.

Smash Balloon Custom Facebook Feed

This plug-in allows your site to automatically pull in videos from your Facebook account so that you do not have to upload them in both places.  To use this plug-in, click on “Facebook Feed” in the lefthand navigation menu of your Admin Dashboard, and follow the prompts to connect your account.  If you are still within your 30-day review period, contact SermonView once your account is connected, and we can set up your feed for you.  Removing or changing this plug-in may stop the automatic posting of your Facebook videos.

The Events Calendar

This plug-in allows you to have a calendar for your church on your website where you can post upcoming events and manage your church’s schedule.  Removing or changing this plug-in will remove your calendar and events from your website and may cause other errors or broken links.

  • The Events Calendar Pro: This add-on allows you to have recurring events that occur on a regular basis on your calendar rather than having to add the same event periodically.  Removing or changing this plug-in will remove all your recurring events on your calendar and keep you from adding any more.

Vimeo

This plug-in allows you to connect your Vimeo account to your website and post your videos from Vimeo on your site.

Wordfence Security

This is the standard security plug-in that we install on every evangelism website.  It includes a firewall and anti-virus/malware protection.  SermonView provides basic configuration and optimization of your firewall.  Removing or changing this plug-in will result in your website becoming vulnerable to security threats, which could take your website down or cause your website to get hacked or used by someone else for their own purposes.

WP Mail SMTP

This plug-in allows your users to receive notifications from WordPress from a custom domain so that they are recognizable and not as likely to be flagged as spam.  Removing or changing this plug-in could stop your users from receiving notifications.
